About International Sustainable Boating Council
OUR PURPOSE
The
International Sustainable Boating Council (ISBC) is a non-profit
organization founded to accelerate the imminent transition of the
boating industry into environmentally sustainable design,
manufacture, operation, and recycling practices. We are dedicated to
the advancement of viable, low impact, and efficient marine
transportation options that are readily available through the
boating marketplace, and to assuring that the US boating industry
become a vital part of the clean energy future.

21st
century watercraft that couple the organic sustainability and
aesthetics of a mid-19th century sail craft with the performance and
economy of a late 20th century power boat
OUR MISSION
To make bio-responsible concepts, products, and practices the obvious and economically desirable choice for boat designers, builders, and operators through positive social rewards and market incentives.
